About
I like a project best when the material, the plan, and the person using the room are all solving the same problem.
Gizem Koçak is an interior architect graduating from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in Istanbul. Studio work moves from concept and space planning through to technical drawing and detailing, with a particular interest in sustainable design, material honesty, furniture design and visual merchandising.
Practical experience spans a design-office internship — concept development, technical drawing and material board preparation — and a construction-site internship following interior implementation in the field against the original drawings.
